Maker / Origin
Founded in 1882 by James Sadler in Burslem, Stoke-on-Trent, the company became world-famous for its novelty and themed teapots. Sadler was a pioneer in industrializing teapot production, making beautifully designed, functional earthenware accessible to households across the globe.
Condition & Value
The teapot shows significant, tight glaze crazing across the underside of the base, which is typical for vintage English earthenware of this era. There is also some minor residue or old adhesive on the bottom. The gold gilding on the handle and spout appears mostly intact with minimal wear.
