Overview

A delicate four-piece porcelain vanity or dresser set featuring the iconic 'B & Co' mark of the prestigious Bernardaud workshop.

Story

In the early 1900s, the vanity table was the private sanctuary of the Edwardian lady, a place where the ritual of 'dressing' could take hours.

Maker / Origin

Léonard Bernardaud took over the Remagnac workshop in 1895, eventually renaming it Bernardaud & Cie in 1900.

Condition & Value

The gilding on the feet appears remarkably well-preserved, which is rare for pieces of this age. Complete vanity sets in good condition are highly collectible.
