Overview

A massive, comprehensive service of 'golden' nickel bronze flatware featuring hand-carved rosewood handles and traditional Thai motifs.

Story

Following World War II, Thailand became a primary destination for American GIs and the burgeoning class of international 'Jet Set' travelers who were captivated by the country's shimmering bronze alloys.

Maker / Origin

While many of these sets were produced by various workshops in Bangkok, the 'T.B.M.' and 'Monaliza' branding indicates a standardized export quality that was highly regarded for its durability.

Condition & Value

The set appears to be in exceptional, possibly unused condition, with many pieces still in original factory packaging. Value is driven by the sheer size of the set and the 'New Old Stock' condition, as many pieces appear to remain in their original plastic sleeves.
