Overview

A stunning example of American Carnival Glass featuring a lush 'Cherry and Pear' interior motif and a distinctive basketweave pattern on the reverse.

Story

In the early 1900s, this glass was known as 'the poor man's Tiffany' because it offered the shimmering beauty of high-end Favrile glass at a fraction of the cost.

Maker / Origin

Harry Northwood founded his company in 1896 and became a titan of the 'Golden Age' of carnival glass.

Condition & Value

The iridescence appears well-preserved with strong 'oil slick' colors. Quick ID could not verify a named-artist market here, so this is intentionally priced like decorative/local-sale art.
