Story
Millions of years ago, volcanic activity in Madagascar created the perfect conditions for silica-rich fluids to seep into rock cavities and cool slowly. It wasn't until 2018 that miners unearthed this specific variety, which looks more like a frozen botanical garden than a mineral.
Maker / Origin
While the 'maker' is the earth itself, the lapidary work—the cutting and polishing—is a skilled craft typically performed in specialized workshops in Madagascar.
Condition & Value
The polish is excellent with a high-gloss finish. The visible pits and internal fractures are natural characteristics of agate and are not considered damage; in fact, the small druzy 'vug' adds character and confirms its natural origin. Condition is excellent for display.
