Overview
A quintessential example of the 'English Country House' lifestyle aesthetic, this robe features a high-relief honeycomb textured cotton weave.
Story
In 1972, a small shop in Cambridge, Massachusetts, began a revolution by looking backward to the botanical wisdom of the 17th century. This robe was born from that vision, designed to turn a simple morning routine into a sensory retreat.
Maker / Origin
Founded by Cyrus Harvey, Crabtree & Evelyn was named after the 17th-century botanist John Evelyn and the wild apple tree (the 'Crabtree') native to Britain.
Condition & Value
The textile appears to be in excellent condition with the 'popcorn' texture still crisp and the white cotton remaining bright. While not a high-value antique, vintage Crabtree & Evelyn textiles have a cult following.
