Story
In 1885, the Mt. Washington Glass Company discovered that adding uranium and gold to a glass batch created a material that changed color when reheated.
Maker / Origin
Founded in 1905 by Frank L. Fenton, the Fenton Art Glass Company became the most prolific producer of handmade colored glass in the United States.
Condition & Value
The vase appears to be in excellent condition with a very smooth color gradient. Standard Fenton Burmese pieces are popular but relatively common.
