Story
During the darkest years of the Great Depression, American glass houses like Fostoria and Cambridge created 'Elegant Glass' to provide a sense of luxury and normalcy to families who could no longer afford true lead crystal.
Maker / Origin
The Fostoria Glass Company was once the largest manufacturer of handmade glassware in the world, renowned for their intricate etchings and vibrant colors.
Condition & Value
The glass appears to have some internal cloudiness or 'sick glass' (mineral deposits or etching from dishwasher use). While these are beautiful examples of American history, they were produced in significant quantities.
