Overview
A classic mid-century weighted spinner featuring a hand-painted 'Yellow Shore' dotted body and a corrugated metal blade.
Story
Following the end of World War II, the American tackle industry exploded as returning veterans sought peace on the water, leading to a golden age of lure design.
Maker / Origin
Glen L. Evans started his tackle business in Idaho in the 1940s, and his 'Shyster' spinner became one of the most copied and beloved designs in fishing history.
Condition & Value
The paint shows minor 'hook swing' wear where the treble hook has rubbed against the body, which is expected and proves it was actually used. While common, lures in this specific color pattern with intact paint and original corrugated blades are sought after by 'tackle box' collectors.
