Overview
This is a quintessential piece of Lenox's 'Butterfly Meadow' collection, one of the most successful casual dinnerware patterns in American history.
Story
In 1999, artist Louise Le Luyer brought the charm of the English countryside to the American dining table with her watercolor-inspired designs.
Maker / Origin
Founded in 1889 by Walter Scott Lenox, the company was the first American porcelain manufacturer to provide official state dinnerware for the White House, starting with Woodrow Wilson.
Condition & Value
The bowl appears to be in excellent condition with no visible chips, cracks, or 'crazing' (fine cracks in the glaze). As a mass-produced contemporary pattern still in production, value is driven by utility and replacement needs rather than rarity.
