Overview
A quintessential mid-century Swiss timepiece featuring a stainless steel case, a sunburst 'Calendar' dial, and the highly coveted 'Beads of Rice' bracelet.
Story
In 1948, Omega celebrated its centennial by launching the Seamaster, a line inspired by the water-resistant watches they supplied to the British Ministry of Defence during World War II.
Maker / Origin
Founded by Louis Brandt in 1848, Omega rose to global prominence by perfecting the 'Omega' caliber, a movement so precise it eventually became the company's name.
Condition & Value
The acrylic crystal shows significant surface scratching and a possible crack near the 12 o'clock position, but these are easily replaced or polished. Value is driven by the presence of the original 'Beads of Rice' bracelet and the 'Calendar' dial variant.
