Overview
These are iconic American ceramic fruit bowls featuring the signature concentric rings and vibrant lead-free glazes that revitalized the brand in the 1980s.
Story
In 1936, designer Frederick Hurten Rhead introduced a line of pottery that would change the American dinner table forever by allowing families to 'mix and match' colors for the first time.
Maker / Origin
The Homer Laughlin China Company was founded in 1871 and grew to become the largest pottery manufacturer in the world.
Condition & Value
The glazes appear bright and glossy with no visible chips or 'flea bites' on the rims. The foot rings show minor shelf wear consistent with light use. These are modern 'Post-86' pieces, which are widely available and highly functional.
