Story
In 1924, two Belgian industrialists met at the Brussels Fair—one a specialist in enameling and the other a casting expert—and decided to revolutionize the way the world cooked.
Maker / Origin
Le Creuset was founded by Armand Desaegher and Octave Aubecq, who pioneered the process of coating functional cookware in bright, jewel-toned glazes.
Condition & Value
The exterior enamel retains a high-gloss factory shine with no visible 'flea bites' or chips on the handles or lid. While these retail new for approximately $115-$130, they hold their value remarkably well on the secondary market.
