Overview
A vibrant example of 'Marigold' iridescent glass featuring a deeply pressed geometric diamond and sunburst pattern.
Story
In 1908, the Fenton brothers introduced a line of glass treated with metallic salts to mimic the expensive, hand-blown iridescent wares of Tiffany and Steuben.
Maker / Origin
Founded in 1905, Fenton Art Glass was a family-run powerhouse that defined the American glass industry for over a century.
Condition & Value
The iridescence appears remarkably well-preserved with no obvious 'rubbing' or loss of luster. Marigold is the most common color in Carnival glass, which keeps the price accessible.
