Overview
A classic pair of footed milk glass shakers featuring the iconic 'Paneled Grape' motif with high-relief fruit clusters and beaded edges.
Story
The town where these were made was actually renamed 'Grapeville' specifically to honor the Westmoreland Glass Company and its famous fruit-themed patterns.
Maker / Origin
Founded in 1889, Westmoreland was a titan of the Pennsylvania glass industry, surviving the Great Depression by pivoting to high-quality milk glass that mimicked the look of expensive porcelain.
Condition & Value
The glass appears to be in excellent condition with no visible 'flea bites' or chips to the raised relief. The Paneled Grape pattern is highly collectible but was produced in large quantities.
