In the early 1970s, the relationship between a corporation and its investors was startlingly direct and personal. This box was mailed from the company's prestigious 245 Park Avenue headquarters in Manhattan to the homes of everyday stockholders.

Maker / Origin

American Brands, Inc. was the 1969 rebranding of the legendary American Tobacco Company, the empire founded by J.B. Duke. By the time this box was produced, the company was led by Robert K.

Condition & Value

The outer box shows minor edge wear consistent with age, but the interior contents appear pristine. Value is driven by the completeness of the set and the presence of the original stockholder letter.
