Story

The late 19th century saw a massive revival in Chinese porcelain where potters looked back to the 'Golden Ages' of the Ming Dynasty for inspiration.

Maker / Origin

While the individual artist remains anonymous, this piece originated from the legendary kilns of Jingdezhen, the porcelain capital of the world for over a millennium.

Condition & Value

The jar appears to be in good antique condition with the original lid present. Value is driven by the presence of the original lid and the intact 'Foo Dog' finial, which are frequently lost or broken.
