Overview

A rare and complete porcelain dresser suite featuring a tall perfume decanter, a hatpin holder, and footed jars decorated with hand-painted forget-me-nots and heavy gold gilding.

Story

Before the era of plastic bottles and mass-produced cosmetics, a lady's dressing table was a curated stage of porcelain and glass.

Maker / Origin

Léonard Bernardaud began as an apprentice in a Limoges workshop and worked his way up to partner, eventually taking over the firm in 1900 to form B & Co.

Condition & Value

The set appears to be in remarkable condition with the original stopper present, which is a major value factor. Value is driven by the completeness of the set and the presence of the 'B & Co' mark.
