Overview

This is a classic piece of American pressed glass featuring a soft satin finish and delicate hand-painted floral motifs.

Story

The Fenton Art Glass Company survived for over a century by reviving Victorian-era glass recipes that other factories had long forgotten.

Maker / Origin

Founded in 1905 by Frank L. Fenton, the company became the largest manufacturer of handmade colored glass in the United States.

Condition & Value

The glass appears to be in excellent condition with no visible chips to the delicate bottom 'ruffle' or the handle. Fenton bells are widely available, but pieces in 'Burmese' or 'Custard' glass with intact hand-painting and artist signatures command the higher end of the market.
