Story
In the years following World War II, American homes underwent a 'Victorian Revival,' where families sought out the charm and sentimentality of the 19th century to balance the sleekness of modern life.
Maker / Origin
Founded in 1889, the Westmoreland Glass Company was one of the 'Big Three' producers of milk glass in the United States.
Condition & Value
Based on the photos, the piece appears to be in excellent vintage condition with no visible chips to the bird's beak or the rim of the nest. While white milk glass is common, the 'Blue Mist' color is more desirable to collectors.
