Overview
A sophisticated 14-karat solid gold dress watch featuring a minimalist champagne dial and a classic 'beads-of-rice' style bracelet.
Story
In 1947, designer Nathan George Horwitt created the 'Museum Watch' dial, but by the 1980s, Movado was expanding that minimalist philosophy into luxury gold timepieces like this one.
Maker / Origin
Founded in 1881 in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland, Movado (meaning 'always in motion' in Esperanto) became world-famous for its association with modern art.
Condition & Value
The case back shows light 'desk diving' scratches consistent with regular wear, but the dial and crystal appear remarkably well-preserved. Value is driven primarily by the solid 14K gold content of the case and the brand prestige.
