In the wake of World War I, the world was hungry for color and modernism, and the kilns of Nagoya, Japan, were ready to provide it.
Maker / Origin
The Noritake company grew out of the Morimura Brothers' trading company, which opened in New York in 1876 to bring Japanese elegance to the West.

The porcelain appears structurally sound with no visible cracks in the photos. Value is driven by the fact that they are a matching pair in a highly desirable Art Deco form.
