In the early 20th century, the town of Gouda shifted from making clay pipes to creating some of the most avant-garde art pottery in Europe.

Maker / Origin

Plateelbakkerij Zuid-Holland (PZH), founded in 1898, was the most influential factory in the Gouda region, recognizable by its iconic windmill mark seen on the base.

Condition & Value

The glaze appears well-preserved with no obvious chips or cracks visible in the photos. Pairs are significantly more desirable than single sticks.
