Story
P.J. Towle, a grocer from St. Paul, Minnesota, revolutionized the syrup industry in 1887 by naming his blend after his childhood hero, Abraham Lincoln, who grew up in a log cabin.
Maker / Origin
Log Cabin was the first brand of blended syrup in the United States and became a household staple under the General Foods umbrella.
Condition & Value
The enamel graphics appear remarkably crisp and bright, which is the primary driver of value for these pieces. There are no visible chips or cracks in the glass. These are highly nostalgic items; while common, the presence of the 'Wigwam' variant in such bright condition adds a slight premium over the standard red logo pieces.
