Overview
This is a premium evolution of one of Seiko's most iconic diver designs, nicknamed the 'Samurai' for its sharp, angular lugs that resemble the sword-slashes of a katana.
Story
In 2004, Seiko released a watch that fans immediately dubbed the 'Samurai' because its hands looked like swords and its case was as sharp as a blade.
Maker / Origin
Kintaro Hattori founded Seiko in 1881 with a vision to be 'one step ahead of the rest,' a philosophy that led them to create Japan's first wristwatch and the world's first quartz watch.
Condition & Value
The watch appears to be in excellent, lightly worn condition with no visible scratches on the sapphire crystal or ceramic bezel. While the retail price is approximately $595, the secondary market for modern Seiko divers is robust.
