Overview
A robust and stylish Swiss-made timepiece from Tissot's 'Super-Sealed' T.12 line, featuring a high-grade automatic movement and a distinctive maritime-themed case back.
Story
The 'T.12' designation on this dial was a bold promise to the wearer: this watch was engineered to withstand 12 atmospheres of pressure, or roughly 120 meters deep.
Maker / Origin
Founded in 1853 by Charles-Félicien Tissot and his son, the company has been a cornerstone of Swiss watchmaking in Le Locle for over 170 years.
Condition & Value
The case shows honest wear and light scratches consistent with age, particularly on the acrylic crystal which could be easily polished. Value is driven by the T.12's cult following among vintage collectors and the presence of the crisp galleon emblem on the case back.
